Robert Hovakimyan (HOVAKIM) was born in 1966
in the city of Kapan (Armenia).
He started his classes of painting at his very
early childhood.
As of 1986 Robert Hovakimyan lives and works
in Saint Petersburg (Russia).
From 1986-1989 he studies in Academy of Arts
named after Mukhina.
Same time he takes classes with Solomon Gershov -
one of the most famous painters of Mark Shagal school.
In 1993 he started collaboration with Institute of
Material and Artistic Culture.
As of 2002 he is member of International
Federation of Artists.
In 2005 he stared in film "Saver of birds. Cloud. Wind"
(Director Ishtvan Saladziak).
In 2006 he was awarded with silver medal
by Russian state Academy of Arts.
Robert Hovakimyan took part in more than 100
exhibitions all over the world.
